The 14" Zildjian A New Beat Hi-Hat Pair is one of the most classic and versatile hi-hat combinations ever made. Sonic Splice Notes

This is a very strong player’s pair of New Beats. At 1158g over 1465g, these hats have a cutting, defined sound with a crisp chick and plenty of articulation. The heavier bottom gives the pair strong foot definition and projection, while the top still responds naturally under the stick.

Cosmetically, these are not mint cymbals, and I am grading them conservatively because of the edge rash and darker patina spots. That said, the logos are unusually well preserved, the cymbals present nicely overall, and there are no cracks, no keyholing, and no flea bites. If you want the classic New Beat sound in a structurally solid pair with strong logo preservation, this is a very usable set.
