Beautiful 424! Faders are smooth and record/playback tested fine on all four tracks. I cleaned it cosmetically and all pots and jacks were cleaned with DeoxIT D5. Heads are cleaned and demagnetized. Pinch roller was treated with a professional grade rubber cleaner & rejuvenator.
I’ve verified that the four trim pre-amps are all working and verified output via headphones and RCA line out. It has a working pitch speed control which is popular with composers creating lo-fi tracks. Please see the attached video demonstrating F FWD, REW, RTZ, playback and pitch-control.
