A compact take on the classic Gibson ES formula, the ES-339 delivers the look and feel of a traditional semi-hollow in a smaller, lighter body size. Finished in Honeyburst, it brings familiar Gibson style, versatile humbucker tones, and a comfortable stage-ready feel into one sharp semi-hollow build.
The 3-ply maple/poplar/maple top and back are paired with spruce bracing and a maple centerblock, giving the ES-339 the air and resonance of an ES-style guitar with added focus and feedback resistance from the centerblock design. It is a strong fit for blues, rock, country, worship, studio work, and players who want semi-hollow character without the larger body size.
The mahogany neck features a hand-rolled Rounded C profile, 24.75" scale length, 12" rosewood fingerboard radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets. Acrylic dot inlays and single-ply cream body binding keep the look clean and classic.
A ’57 Classic neck pickup and ’57 Classic Plus bridge pickup give this guitar warm, clear Gibson humbucker tones with plenty of range. The standard two-volume, two-tone layout with toggle switch keeps the controls familiar and easy to work from the stage or in the studio.
Nickel hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons, black top hat knobs with silver reflectors, and a black 5-ply pickguard. A Gibson hardshell case and accessory kit are included.
