About the R-8M: This is the rackmount version of the classic Roland R-8, released in the late '80s. It drops the trigger pads and onboard sequencer of the desktop R-8, making it a great compact sound module to run from an external MIDI sequencer or DAW. Features 3 ROM card slots, 6 individual outputs, backlit LCD, and full MIDI I/O (in/out/thru).
