Titolo: Vintage Marshall 1982B All Purpose 4x12 Straight Cabinet (1978/1979) - All-Original Celestion G12H T1281 Blackbacks w/ 444 Kurt Mueller Cones
Description:
Up for sale is a very rare and highly collectible late 1978 / early 1979 Marshall 1982B All Purpose "Base" (straight) 4x12 cabinet (120W - 16 Ohms). The crown jewel of this cabinet is the all-original, coeval, and unreconed quad of vintage Celestion speakers:
- Model: Celestion G12H T1281 "Heavy Magnet" (55Hz bass resonance).
- Magnet Cover: Original Blackbacks.
- Cones: Original Kurt Mueller cones with the iconic "444" white stamp clearly visible.
- Date Codes: One factory-leftover from late September 1977 (4JK3) and three from October/November 1978 (one KL23, two LL8). This is a textbook example of how Marshall pooled stock back in the day—100% factory original.
Condition:
Structurally rock-solid. The Baltic birch plywood is in great shape, and it retains its original round plastic backplate with serial number 1904. Visually, this is a true "road-worn" warrior: the rear Tolex shows significant tearing and a vintage white stencil. I intentionally left it untouched to preserve its authentic vintage mojo. It sounds absolutely massive, three-dimensional, with an incredible low-mid grunt.
Local pickup preferred due to weight, but worldwide shipping can be arranged on a pallet. Fully professional packing guaranteed. Shipping costs and duties/taxes are the buyer's responsibility. No trades.
