Item Description The Fender American Vintage II 1954 Precision Bass is a stunning tribute to one of the most iconic instruments in music history. Fender has meticulously recreated the look, feel, and sound of the historic original. This bass features a resonant Ash body paired with a 1-piece Maple neck and fretboard. The neck boasts a period-correct 1954 "C" profile, a vintage 7.25-inch radius, and 20 Vintage Tall frets for a highly authentic playing experience.

Tonally, the instrument is equipped with a passive Pure Vintage '54 Precision Single-Coil pickup, delivering the classic, fat vintage tone that helped shape early rock 'n' roll, blues, and beat music. The electronics are straightforward and reliable, featuring a master volume and a master tone control. For maximum historical accuracy, the bass is finished in a beautiful 2-Color Sunburst high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer over a polyurethane base coat, complemented by a 1-ply parchment pickguard. It also features vintage-correct hardware, including open-gear Pure Vintage reverse tuners, a bone nut, and a 2-saddle Pure Vintage bridge with fiber saddles.
