This pedal offers an impressive range of smooth, musical tones, from a growl that thickens your sound to chest-thumping bass, all in a space-saving MXR mini format.
The Vintage Bass Octave’s sound is rich and guttural, and it’s available in two forms: one octave down and two octaves down.
Each can be selected separately using the Oct 1 and Oct 2 volume controls, and with a Dry volume control for a clean signal, you can create the perfect blend for your rig.
For greater clarity and definition, use the Mid switch to boost the midrange of your clean signal by +6dB at 800Hz.
If you want even more of a boost, simply remove the bottom plate and adjust the internal trimpot to boost it up to +13dB.
