This accessory is a vintage gold-colored tie clip shaped like a miniature drum cymbal. It is adorned with the Paiste logo, one of the world's largest manufacturers of cymbals, gongs, and metal percussion. ✔️
Real material: not gold, bronze ✔️
Product Features
Design: A round piece with concentric grooves mimics the surface of a real cymbal. The bottom features the brand's classic embossed logo. ✔️
Short History: Production period: 1970s to early 1980s ( Paiste " Golden era" when coming models like 2002 ,602 and other top cymbals lines). Similar products were produced for brand endorsers and existing dealers. Later, in the middle 1980s and early 1990s, the company produced pins in a similar design and various colors, but in larger quantities, for souvenirs, trade drum show sales, and other purposes. These early tie clips were produced in silver (the more common model) and bronze (gold) for top artists or top dealers. ✔️
Brand: Paiste is a Swiss company with a rich history, founded by Estonian musician Toomas Paiste in 1906 in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire. The brand name means "shine" in Estonian. ✔️
