It is known for its simple operation and durable build, making it a classic choice for musicians in high-gain genres. 

Key Features and Controls

• Noise Reduction: The primary function of the NF-1 is to reduce extraneous noise, hiss, and hum, providing a cleaner overall sound, especially with single-coil pickups or high-gain distortion pedals.
• Simple Operation: The pedal features a minimalist interface with only two control knobs and a footswitch.
• Analog Circuitry: It uses analog circuitry, which some players prefer for its smooth gating characteristic without harsh cutoffs, contrasting with more modern digital units.

Controls

• SENS (Sensitivity): This knob adjusts the threshold level at which the noise gate activates.

  • Turning it clockwise increases sensitivity for quieter noise levels.
• DECAY: This control adjusts the fade-out timeof the sound after the signal level drops below the SENS setting. This ensures the sound fades naturally, preventing abrupt or unpleasant "break-offs".
