March 1, 1995 (fifth year of the) “Good Wood Era” Gibson Les Paul Standard - This is gem from my private collection. -
Greetings and thank you for your interest in a gorgeous and unique N.O.S. Gibson Les Paul Standard electric guitar that was purchased new in 1995 and added to my private collection. Since then, this guitar has been stored in its original hard case in a controlled environment free from humidity and temperature fluctuations. NEVER played - NEVER !!! I repeat: it has “ZERO” hours of music since then...
Therefore, it is in absolutely IMMACULATE condition, exactly as it was when it left the Gibson factory in Nashville!
I have serious doubts that there could be another one in this condition, unless it is in a museum or comes from a collector who, just like me, bought it and kept it in its case. Original papers, hang tags/documents included!
It comes from Gibson's golden five-year period, the legendary “GOOD WOOD ERA” from 1990 to 1995: a period of particularly inspired wood stocks—by far the best ever for standard production. Everything produced during those five years by Gibson sounds wonderful, as if by magic. The reason is well known: it wasn't magic, but exceptional wood! And that's why they are so sought after by both, musicians and collectors…
… and this explains the continuous and unstoppable increase of its value.
