The 2012 Gibson Les Paul Custom in black is the quintessential LP Custom: high-gloss nitro finish, multiple binding, gold hardware, and the split-diamond headstock inlay. A solid body with maple top and mahogany back delivers the expected blend of punch and long sustain. The solid mahogany neck features a comfortable Medium C profile; scale length is 629 mm. The spec sheet notes a Richlite fingerboard (to be confirmed) with a 12" radius, 22 jumbo frets, and a 43.8 mm nylon nut.
Electronics are classic: a pair of original Gibson pickups in HH configuration, V–T–V–T controls, and a 3-way toggle. Hardware includes an ABR-1 bridge, Grover gold tuners, 3-ply pickguard, and black top hats. Strung with 10–46. Comes with case and certificate. Weight: 4.115 kg.
