Up for sale amazing J200 1956 that belonged to Jim Reeves.

It was brought to South Africa in 1962 for his tour with Chet Atkins.

There is no documentation but the star on the shoulder is a custom inlay by Gibson done for him, symbol of Texas his home.

The guitar is in general good condition it has a repair on the side but nothing major and has a inside pickup with jack to amplify it for live performance which sounds amazing.

Strong General case to keep it safe included (as per pictures), it has the original case too (conditions are poor) but good for display.
