I reluctantly part with this beautiful and historic instrument.

Two experts told me that it is a 61' bass (one of the two only deals with Hofner)I know this sound odd... so I am listing as a 1964?.. not sure about this.

What I know for sure is that it sounds amazing, I compared it with other similar vintage Hofners: this ate them all up in terms of sound

2 tuners are not original and there are some marks on the body (look carefully at the photos)

Oxidation might build up in pots and controls, this is normal for vintage gear and will go away with use and a good spray.
