A pedal tuner without pedal? The Boss TU-3S technically corresponds to the tried and tested TU-3, but the foot switch is missing. This makes sense, in conjunction with Looper / Switcher pedals, such as Boss ES-8, which have a tuner output. The TU-3S is activated via the switcher. A further advantage is the small size of the tuner, which finds its place even on hopelessly overloaded pedalboards. The tuner also works well on tuner outputs from amplifiers or floor pedals (e. g., Ernie Ball Volume Pedal).
