With up to 20 dB Clean Boost and a variable equalizer, the Fender Engager Boost proves to be the ultimate sound tool for electric guitars, which should not be missing on any pedal board. Accordingly, the compact can be used both to raise the volume for solo passages or to help weak-chested sounds on the jumps. But the Fender Engager Boost also cuts an excellent figure in front of a tube amp, whose preamplifier for a creamy lead tone is to be sweated up. The 3-band equalizer with selectable frequency band for the mid-range control also enables particularly precise sound adjustment. Another practical detail is the illuminated potentiometer caps, which make it easy to read the pedal setting even on the darkest stages.
