The Fender Fat ’50s Strat Pickup Set consists of three single-coil pickups for Stratocaster electric guitars. Hand-sanded, staggered Alnico V magnets and Formvar-coated winding wire deliver a dynamic vintage character with powerful bass and less pronounced mid-range.
The bridge pickup is wound slightly tighter to ensure a balanced output level. The middle pickup features reverse winding and polarity (RW/RP), which reduces the typical single-coil hum in the Strat’s middle positions 2 and 4.
The DC resistances are 6.2 kΩ at the bridge, 6.3 kΩ in the middle and 6.0 kΩ at the neck.
