Original vintage Shure Beta 58 dynamic vocal microphone, manufactured circa 1989–1996, before the introduction of the Beta 58A.

Features the desirable transformerless design with humbucking coil.

Unlike the later Beta 58A, this early version uses a different cartridge and transformerless circuitry, giving it its own distinctive sonic character.

A desirable early Shure Beta microphone, particularly interesting to collectors and enthusiasts of vintage professional audio equipment.

Good cosmetic condition with expected signs of use. There is one small dent in the body (pictured)

Includes original Shure pouch and microphone clip, as pictured.

Now, I had this mic for years for a reason. Because on the Black Album tour, just before, and sometimes after (i think Donnington '95 - i was there), James Hetfield from Metallica used these mics on their humongo-stage. If it's good enough for him, it's goddamn good enough! I have a few photos of them using them - i will not upload due to copyright, but i will send via message if you wish to see. They are grainy, but it's this mic!

If you want the crappy little stand, just say and you can take it :)
