Our finest baroque violin bow model: a newly made bow in snakewood, combining a striking figured stick with an elegant baroque head, an ebony frog and a finely turned light wooden button.

Craftsmanship and Materials

The stick is made of snakewood, prized by baroque bow makers for its strength, density and unmistakable speckled figure. It ends in a graceful baroque head with an ebony face. The open-throat frog is ebony; the button is turned from a light-coloured wood with decorative rings, giving a beautiful contrast with the dark stick. Haired with natural white horsehair.
