They have been developed for audio professionals who wish to move freely around the studio without compromising on sound quality, latency or control.

Using LEWITT RealSound Wireless Technology, the LW6 transmits uncompressed PCM audio with extremely low latency. This makes them ideal not only for relaxed listening, but also for precise work during production, overdubbing and recording.

LEWITT RealSound technology operates in the ultra-wideband range and enables wireless audio transmission with an uncompressed PCM signal. Latency is just 5.8 ms, making the LW6s suitable for real-time monitoring during recording.

The included RealSound transmitter can be connected to a headphone output or directly to the computer via USB-C. Within a range of up to 5 m, the sound remains clear, direct and reliable.

The LW6 combines a closed-back, over-ear design with a sound signature reminiscent of open-back studio headphones. This gives you effective isolation during recording whilst also delivering transparent, natural sound reproduction for mixing decisions.

For its tuning, LEWITT uses an advanced measurement method involving microphones placed in real ears rather than just on a head simulator. The aim is to achieve particularly reliable sound reproduction, so that you can trust your decisions during mixing and mastering.

Unique DSP functions can be controlled directly via the headphones using the desktop and mobile apps. These include custom EQ profiles, virtual studio monitors, Loudness Guard and Advanced Monitoring.

You can create your own sound profiles using a 5-band EQ and save them directly to the headphones. The virtual studio monitors simulate the feeling of sitting in front of monitor speakers in a acoustically treated room. This is particularly helpful when you want to work with precision whilst on the move, in a project studio or late at night.

With Loudness Guard, you can set a protection threshold to safeguard your hearing from loud peaks. In addition, Advanced Monitoring offers practical control functions for professional mix checks.

These include, amongst other things, K-metering for mastering and broadcast, mono check, side-stereo, side-mono, left-right swap and three definable target volumes for quick access.
