The 50th Anniversary SVT is an all-tube 300-watt bass head designed to celebrate 50 years of the SVT and handcrafted in the USA. It combines two iconic generations of the SVT circuit: Channel 1 captures the character of the 1969 “Blue Line” model, while Channel 2 is inspired by the mid-1970s Magnavox-era SVT; the two channels can also be linked for an even bigger and more aggressive sound. The power section features six Ampeg Super Valve 6550 tubes, supported by five 12AX7 preamp tubes, one additional 12AX7 and two 12AU7 driver tubes. It delivers the huge headroom, tight low end, pronounced mids and warm, compressed character typical of a vintage SVT, while adding modern features such as user-adjustable bias, a balanced XLR DI output and speakON speaker outputs. It delivers 300 watts into 2 or 4 ohms and comes with its original cover.
