Music Man 112 RP One Hundred from 1981, a great American-made combo from Music Man’s classic era.

This model delivers 100 watts and features a particularly versatile control section with a three-band EQ, spring reverb and built-in phaser. Like many Music Man amplifiers from this period, it uses a hybrid design combining a solid-state preamp with a tube power section, offering plenty of headroom, a fast response and a powerful, articulate clean sound.

This example is the 1x12 version. The rear panel features a 4/8-ohm impedance selector as well as an extension speaker output.

The identification plate reads model 112-RP-100, chassis 2100-RP, serial number DP07725. The original “81-3” sticker on the rear strongly indicates a production date of March 1981.

The amplifier is in very good overall condition for its age, with some normal signs of use and ageing. A great vintage Music Man combo: loud, clean and punchy, with excellent onboard reverb and phaser.

Overall a nice and clean amp that has just been serviced. Only very minor maintenance. We have the full report from the technician and the original caps and resistance. It is ready to play and priced to sell.
