I'm selling this 1959HW plexi modded to 1968 specs superbass to have the same legendary tone that Hendrix , Clapton Kossoff etc... had.
when this amp come out of the factory it has just the look of a plexi, in reality it's built as a 1969 metal panel superlead amp. this plexi has two main mods, first it's been brought to 1968 specs and then it's been brought to superbass specs.
The amp has been modded with the best components you can find. the filtering has been brought down to 1968 values with F&T electrolytic capacitors. coupling cap has been replaced with SoZo ones , NOS resistors have been put in the right places (tonestack, NFB loop).
this amp still has Dagnall made in england transformers, current production transformers are chinese made
power tubes are brand new, i've put a matched quartet of EL34s two months ago.
