2011 Martin D-35 – Beautiful Condition – Excellent Sound

For sale is this beautiful 2011 Martin D-35, a true Martin classic and one of the most iconic dreadnought models ever made.

The previous owner was a collector, and the guitar spent several years safely stored in its case. I have owned and played it for about a year, and the sound has recently started to really open up. It has that characteristic D-35 voice: rich, powerful and deep, with excellent balance and plenty of warmth and resonance.

The guitar is in excellent condition and shows virtually no signs of use. The frets are like new.

It comes with its original case.

The specifications are the classic D-35 combination of a Sitka spruce top with beautiful rosewood back and sides, giving the instrument its distinctive tonal character.

The neck features the classic Martin profile with a 1 11/16" nut width. It is very comfortable to play, with a great feel and an impressive sound. I believe it has plenty of room to develop and improve even further as it continues to be played.

Please note the following cosmetic flaw:
There is a stable crack in the lacquer/finish - the top is perfect, the crack is only on the laquer and almost invisible - clearly visible in the photos. It is strictly a finish crack and has not affected the wood, the top, the structural integrity, or the sound of the guitar in any way. It is only noticeable when the guitar is viewed against the light. Please carefully check the photos for details.

Overall, this is a beautiful, great-sounding D-35 with a lot of character and plenty of potential to become an even better instrument over time.
