The H5000 belongs to Yamaha’s professional H-Series amplifiers and was designed for demanding sound-reinforcement and installation applications.

Its headline specification is approximately 500 watts per channel into 8 ohms, but one of the most interesting aspects of the H5000 is its high-efficiency amplifier architecture.

Yamaha specifically designed the H-Series to consume considerably less AC power than conventional amplifier designs producing comparable output. Reduced power consumption also means reduced heat generation—an important advantage in professional racks and installations.
