I’m selling this fantastic amp as I’m slowly downsizing my amp collection and mainly playing digitally these days.
This amp was built in England by Modulus and is a faithful recreation of an original 1969 Marshall JMP 50 (Model 1987). It is fully point-to-point handwired and built using high-quality components throughout.
A rear-mounted master volume was also professionally installed by my amp tech, allowing the amp to sound great even at lower volumes.
The only cosmetic imperfections are two small holes in the upper left corner where the builder’s badge was previously mounted. Other than that, the amp is in excellent, near-mint condition. It has only ever been played at home in a smoke-free environment.
Specifications / Components:
- Drake transformers
- CTS pots
- F+T high-grade capacitors
- SoZo Mustard capacitors
- JJ tubes
- Point-to-point handwired
- Professionally installed rear master volume
This is a fantastic opportunity to get a genuine old-school Marshall-style amp, built the way it should be, without the vintage price tag or the mass-produced feel of modern Marshall production.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
