This is a Yamaha 82z Alto Saxophone in great condition. I know you see the scratches and the lacquer peel, but it has no functional imperfections.All the pads are new: repadded one month ago. (overhauled). It plays perfectly from top to bottom. It’s more free blowing than the 2nd gen. The second gen is a little more controlled. This 1st gen is way more free blowing.The internal bore and neck design were ground breaking for this series. This is perfect for any jazz master or contemporary sax artist that wants to explore the limits of the alto sax. *Included is a vintage Yanagisawa steel ebonite mouthpiece R. A new Yamaha 4c mouthpiece can be replaced if so desired.Shipping is $99 within the continental USA**The great thing about this listing is that the horn comes with an overhaul. In most states, an overhaul can cost anywhere from $1200-2000 dollars. And a new 82z alto from sweet water will run you $5899. If you want the newer sound, my recommendation is to buy the V1 neck (80% of the improvement from this gen) for $369.
