About this listing
In near mint condition, bought new a few years back. Asian-made PRS, but with the usual PRS quality-control. SE-line, but the top of that line. I spotted no flaws, feels and plays premium. Sound is fairly warm on the neck, but able to get a diverse range of sounds out of it (especially if you include the piezo). Neck feels like a standard PRS, so neither especially thin nor especially thick. It is a hollowbody, but it is PRS, so this isn't a full jazz archtop or something like that. Smaller and lighter than one, as well. It doesn't feedback as fast as one of those and works fine with medium distortion. I'd say it is a little closer to a semi-hollow, 335 or something than an archtop in terms of sound. The piezo has it's own separate output (that you can blend the normal pickup sounds with), or you can use the standard output if you want only the regular e-guitar signal. You can even use both outputs, and perhaps amplify them separately for a massive output, if you want. The only downside to the guitar I found is the fact that the piezo (being an active pickup) requires a 9 volt battery. And those deplete a bit faster than I was expecting with this guitar, so I typically only insert the battery when I actually want to use the piezo. But it is still nice to have the option, especially if you want to go somewhere, need a passable acoustic guitar sound for some songs and only want to bring one guitar with you. For lots of details, please check the PRS website for this model. Comes with a solid PRS case.
