This is where it all began. During Oasis' early tours, Noel Gallagher played a variety of Gibson and Epiphone guitars, most notably the Epiphone Rivieras from the early 1980s. The aesthetic and sonic characteristics of these instruments allowed audiences to experience the ultimate live experience while watching the greatest rock 'n' roll band perform. Epiphone is honored to welcome back Noel Gallagher with the Epiphone Noel Gallagher Riviera in the stunning Dark Wine Red finish. Since the original is still in the artist's collection, Epiphone gained access and, as a result, included many historic elements in this new model. The color and finish are very similar to the original models of the era, while Epiphone Alnico Classic PROâ„¢ pickups ensure a sound that matches the aesthetics. The SlimTaperâ„¢ neck is complemented by a scroll. A few extra touches, such as the traditional "E" symbols on the pickguard and truss rod cover, and a brown soundhole label, give this guitar a vintage vibe.
