About This Model

The Yamaha EMX212S is a powered mixer combining a multi-channel mixing console and amplifier in a single unit, delivering 220 W into 4 Ω or 130 W into 8 Ω. It offers four mono channels (CH 1–4) each with XLR and phone inputs, plus four stereo channels (CH 5/6 through 11/12) with XLR and phone connections — channels 9–12 also accept RCA input. Outputs include Speakon and 1/4" speaker outs, balanced main outs, monitor out, effect out, and RCA record outs. Each channel features a 3-band EQ, while the main and monitor buses are shaped by a 7-band graphic EQ. The onboard SPX digital multi-effector provides 32 programs, and 15 V phantom power supports condenser microphones. A switchable power amp mode allows the built-in amplification to be routed between main L/R or main plus monitor configurations, making this a self-contained solution for live sound reinforcement.
