Up for sale is the legendary, heavy-duty Sonor HLZ 5480 Signature Series hi-hat stand from the 1980s (Horst Link era). Known among drummers as "built like a tank," this German-engineered stand is widely considered one of the most stable and innovative hi-hat stands ever made. ✔️
Key features of this iconic stand include:
- Non-slip hexagonal pull rod (prevents the top cymbal and clutch from spinning).
- King-size oversized tension adjustment screw for the bottom cymbal angle.
- Fully adjustable spring tension to accommodate cymbals of any weight.
- Heavyweight, double-braced legs and thick steel tubing for extreme stability.
- Iconic footplate integrating vulcanized rubber inserts with chrome steel.
