Gibson LG-1 - USA 1952 - Original Vintage Acoustic Guitar and CaseFor sale is an original 1952 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar with sunburst finish. Purchased second hand around 15 years ago. All working in good condition, cosmetically fair to good whilst never being gigged and only moderately played since purchase. The guitar was professionally repaired when purchased second hand but may need appropriate set up and a once over again for the new owner.The guitar has significant age wear which includes historical signs of a volume and tone control on the front body installed from a previous owner - these are now filled in. There are various repaired splits and some slight lifting of the front body in one area. As far as I remember the white tuner pegs were replaced with new ones as was the nut. As would be expected with a guitar of this age there is moderate yet significant signs of checking on the finish - please view the images provided - I will update with more detailed images and fret condition as soon as possible - the overall condition is fair to good. Included is the original Gibson brown case which is in fair vintage condition and would need refurbishing if at all possible.Local pick up is preferred but I will ship with tracking and full insurance to most regions.
