Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 1999 Gibson J-100 Maple & Spruce Jumbo Acoustic Guitar finished in Natural. The J-100 is one of Gibson's classic jumbo acoustics, offering a large, powerful body with plenty of projection and a full, balanced voice. The combination of a spruce top and maple back and sides gives this example a clear, articulate response with plenty of punch and headroom.
The jumbo body provides excellent projection and low-end presence while the maple construction adds clarity and definition. This is a great choice for players who want a big, powerful acoustic that cuts through in a mix and responds well to strumming, flatpicking, and aggressive playing.
This guitar has an end pin jack installed and is pickup-ready, although no pickup is currently installed. The guitar shows honest play wear including medium pickguard scratches, minor dings on the top, and a small wear spot on the back. There are no cracks or repairs, and fret wear is minimal. The guitar has good neck projection and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
