The Galaxy '74 is a high-end stereo digital pedal that faithfully recreates the legendary 1970s Roland RE-201 Space Echo. Thanks to dual-processor UAFX technology, it accurately models the Space Echo's multi-head tape delay, spring reverb, and renowned analog preamp, delivering the characteristic warmth, saturation, wow & flutter, and compression. It offers seven playback head combinations, extended delay times compared to the original, tap tempo, controllable self-oscillation, and Tape Age, Bass, Treble, and Dwell controls for fine-tuning the sound. Operating in mono, stereo, or dual mono, it features trails, analog dry-through, buffered bypass, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB-C/MIDI via the UAFX Control app for access to advanced functions. Renowned as one of the best modern emulations of the Space Echo, it is particularly appreciated for its organic delays, deep ambiences and very musical preamp.
