The BubbleTron is a US-made digital modulation pedal, originally designed in collaboration with Larry "Ler" LaLonde (Primus) and inspired by the experimental effects used by Frank Zappa. Much more than a simple phaser or flanger, it combines three main effects: a dynamic filter/Sample & Hold, a dynamic phaser (DynaMoPhase), and a dynamic flanger (DynaFlange), all capable of responding to pick attack rather than following a classic LFO. A second bank of sounds, accessible via internal switches, adds an envelope filter (auto-wah), a traditional phaser, and a classic flanger, bringing the total to six distinct effects. Rate, Depth, Level, and Sensitivity controls allow for fine-tuning the response of each effect, while Vintage and Modern modes alter their sonic character. A true playground for lovers of original textures, it covers everything from subtle sounds to psychedelic, funky, or completely experimental modulations. Thanks to its versatility and unique approach to dynamic modulation, the Bubble Tron is considered one of the most creative pedals in the Keeley catalogue.
