Synergy SYN-1 Single Module Tube Preamp loaded with a Salvation Mods Angel preamp module.

I bought this unit used and have never used it myself. It has not even been plugged in by me. Because I have not personally tested it before listing, it is sold as photographed and described. Functionality can be confirmed before shipping if required.

The main unit is the Synergy SYN-1, a single-slot modular tube preamp host designed for Synergy-format preamp modules. The rear panel label identifies the unit as SYN-1, assembled in the U.S.A., with serial number 10011021095.

The included module is a Salvation Mods Angel module. This is an ENGL-style high-gain module with controls for Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Volume, plus additional switching options including Noise Gate, Hi Gain, and Contour. Salvation Audio describes its modular preamps as compatible with Synergy, Randall RM series, and older Egnater modular amps, and describes the Angel E concept as based on a tight, articulate high-gain amp sound.

Also included are the Synergy two-button footswitch and Synergy SYN-1 instruction manual shown in the photos. Please review all photos carefully.
