The Alesis Sample Pad is a versatile electronic percussion module designed to expand your drum kit with additional electronic sounds. It is very easy and intuitive to operate, as well as simple to mount and integrate into any setup.
The unit features four built-in velocity-sensitive pads with four levels of dynamic response and a dedicated kick trigger input.
The Sample Pad can be used in three different positions: mounted on a snare stand, attached to a dedicated mounting bracket, or simply placed on a flat surface.
Each pad can be individually assigned to any available sound stored in the device, including various percussion sounds such as Asian or Latin instruments. Compared to the Perc Pad model, the Sample Pad introduces SD card support, allowing users to load their own custom samples.
Supported sample formats:
- 16-bit / 8-bit
- 48 / 44.1 / 32 / 22.05 / 11.025 kHz
- Maximum sample size: 14 MB
The Sample Pad features MIDI output, a dedicated kick trigger input, and connections for external sound systems or headphones.
