Interesting and rare mandolin by Weymann, USA, serial number is 16148-35 (1914). The instrument is labeled on the inside and on the underside of the peghead.
L. 65.5 cm Scale length 35 cm, nut width 31 mm
The so-called mandolute has a good sound with plenty of sustain. However, there are two old repaired drying cracks on the top. The neck is slightly bent (see photo). There are also various scratches and scuffs.
The instrument does not come with a bag.
