Item Description The 2014 Fender American Standard Stratocaster is widely considered to represent the sweet spot for modern Strats, offering an excellent combination of authentic tone and modern playability. It features a highly resonant, lightweight Alder body. The Maple neck boasts a highly comfortable Modern "C" profile with a smooth satin finish on the back and a gloss finish on the fretboard. This is seamlessly paired with a 9.5-inch radius and 22 Medium Jumbo frets for effortless playability and smooth string bending without choking out.
Tonally, this guitar is truly exceptional. It is equipped from the factory with a set of legendary Custom Shop Fat '50s single-coil pickups in the bridge, middle, and neck positions. These highly sought-after pickups deliver a big, bold, and rich authentic Stratocaster tone. The sound is easily controlled via a Master Volume knob, a Tone knob for the neck pickup, and a dedicated Tone knob for the bridge and middle pickups. For reliable performance and tuning stability, it features standard cast/sealed staggered tuners and a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with bent steel saddles and a copper-infused high mass metal bridge block.
