Hi folks,
I’m offering an early SONOR Phonic D505 with seamless ferromanganese shell with the typical depth of 5.75" and black Centennial badge.
This is likely a very early model, as it still features the large snare strainer SONOR used on all high-quality snares throughout the early 1970s.
The tension rods are in fantastic condition and have been fitted with SONOR washers to help prevent detuning.
The strainer still operates very smoothly.
The chrome is mostly in fairly good condition, but upon closer inspection shows clear signs of wear, especially on the hoops, which are likely still original. There is also a small dent on the tension hoop of the resonant head, but only on the outer, flanged edge.
The snare features a vintage Ludwig snare head.
International shipping is no problem. Please ask for individual rates.
