Selling my Sire Marcus Miller M7 4st Fretless 2nd Gen, purchased new in 2023.
The bass is in excellent condition, very well maintained, and fully functional.
No issues, no repairs, and no hidden problems.
This instrument has an exceptionally comfortable setup with a super soft and fast neck, making it very easy and inspiring to play. The fretless tone is classic, warm, expressive, and articulate, with great “mwah” and smooth sustain.
The ebony fingerboard is completely straight and in excellent condition with no visible grooves or uneven areas. It comfortably allows very low action and plays cleanly across the neck.
Anyone familiar with fretless instruments knows that fingerboard quality is extremely important, and this is genuinely a very good example of an M7 fretless.
Currently strung with flatwound strings for a smooth playing feel and a traditional fretless character.
