This is the excellent Roland TD-50 drum module with the X upgrade. This means that the hardware is the original TD-50 but the software is the upgraded TD-50X. So it sounds identical to the TD-50X. This was until recently (2024) Roland's flagship drum module. It's super easy to use and sounds excellent.

As well as the original 70 Roland TD-50X factory kits, this also comes loaded with 30 additional kits from the eDrum Workshop. These feature high-quality samples that provide more natural and punchy sounds compared to the stock Roland kits. Included packs are the eDW Originals Premium, Originals Studio, Famous Vol. 2 and Powerful and Punchy packs.

The module is fully functional, and I've never had any technical issues with it at all. It's been well looked after, never gigged, and always kept clean and dry in my studio. The only cosmetic issue is a small scratch on the top plate on the right-hand side (please see photo). This is purely cosmetic and does not affect functionality in any way.

This is a powerful, professional-level module suitable for studio recording, live performance, and advanced practice, with deep editing, positional sensing support, and rock-solid triggering.
