The base features of the guitar include a chambered mahogany body and maple top with a bolt-on, carbon fibre-reinforced mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. A 25"-25.5" scale length, 20" fretboard radius, and 24 stainless steel frets with a 1.65" nut width and stainless steel zero fret create an already impressive playing platform but what really sets this guitar apart is the EndurNeck profile. This asymmetrical neck carve is engineered for a more natural hand position, reducing strain and fatigue so you can focus your energy on playing better, for longer.

When it comes to hardware, the Salen Jazz doesn't pull its punches thanks to the proprietary EGS Rev7 hardware. It's carefully designed to be light in weight with resonant tone, without compromising on stability and usability.

Perhaps most interestingly, the Salen Jazz comes fitted with a set of Pete Thorn signature Suhr pickups. The Thornbucker in neck position is a classic PAF-inspired humbucker with an Alnico V magnet, delivering vintage output and expressive dynamics that are perfect for clean tones and smooth leads. The Thornbucker II in bridge position utilises an Alnico II magnet and hotter wind that give it a sweet punch with tonnes of clarity and openness.
