Overview
The Akai S3000XL is a professional 16-bit stereo digital sampler released in the mid-1990s. It features 32-voice polyphony, SCSI connectivity, and a built-in floppy drive, making it one of the most versatile and widely used samplers of its era. With up to 32 MB RAM installed, a large LCD display, and Akai’s intuitive operating system, the S3000XL became a staple in studios worldwide and is still valued for its reliable performance and classic sound.
Condition
Very Good Condition – Cosmetically clean with minimal wear.
32 MB RAM installed (fully expanded).
No effects board (EB-16) installed.
LCD backlight is not functioning. The display remains visible under normal lighting but is dim without a backlight.
Other than the backlight issue, the unit is fully functional and tested.
Important Notes
This unit is designed for 100V operation. If you are located outside Japan, please use a step-down transformer for safe operation.
