The eight Class-A Audient Console Mic Preamps are based on the same analog circuitry as the renowned ASP8024-HE recording consoles. They offer up to 68 dB gain, extremely low noise and minimal distortion. These preamps ensure precise and true-to-source audio recording with a touch of analog warmth.

The iD48 uses 32-bit ESS DAC converters, which offer an impressive dynamic range of 126.5 dB. This technology minimizes sound loss during conversion and enables incredibly detailed and clear sound reproduction - perfect for detecting even the finest nuances and problematic passages.

With the eight balanced D-Sub inserts, favorite outboard effects can be seamlessly integrated into the signal path. Thanks to the switchable insert technology, users can choose whether the Audient Mic Preamp or DAW outputs should feed the ADC path - all without the hassle of re-plugging cables. The returns also allow the internal preamps to be bypassed for particularly clean recording of external microphone preamps.

The iD48 offers comprehensive monitoring functions: In addition to main and alto speaker outputs, additional line outputs are available for flexible monitoring. Two independent headphone amplifiers with a dynamic range of 124 dB provide enough power for professional headphones with up to 600 ohms.

Thanks to configurable function buttons, important functions such as speaker select, dim or mono can be easily assigned. The innovative talkback technology allows the use of a USB or computer microphone without blocking valuable preamplifier slots.
