1960’s Teisco EP-8T WILDWOOD Hollowbody Electric Guitar MIJ Japan Rare Finish Surf’s Up Psychedelic

Spectacular Specimen! Real wild WILDWOOD finish with orange, brown and yellow stripes. This finish is similar to what Fender was doing with some of their Coronado Hollowbody electric models.

Guitar is super clean all over and all electronics work as intended. Rocker switches can be a little finicky as usual on these. They can be a little crackly when switching but stay on when in place. Interestingly, these switches have 3 positions; instead of just on / off there is a middle position but I can’t tell if there’s a tone difference or just another off position. Neck is straight and action is low. Truss rod works.

This is a pre owned guitar that will show some wear commensurate of age and use. There are light marks and scratches and the floral print on the pickguard has faded and rubbed off a bit. Very clean for approximately 55+ years old. These guitars are super light and these pickups are nice and raunchy.

Comes with hardshell case shown. Tremolo arm removed for shipping.

Guitar plays fine as is but any personal cleaning, setups, maintenance or repairs will be the new owners responsibility.
