The G6122T-62 GE Country Gentleman is a time honoured tribute to one of the first custom designed instruments Gretsch invested their efforts in and came to prominence with the legendary playing styles of Chet Atkins and George Harrisons. Expect to find the perfect combination between aesthetic, playability, versatility and tone.
The classic ‘U’ shaped maple neck loaded with an ebony fingerboard flanked by 22 vintage style frets offer users a unique playing experience while the included Bigsby B6VT vibrato tailpiece can provide further expression and articulation to your playing while ensuring no compromise is made in terms of tuning stability.
Tonally, the G6122T-62 uses its natural and balanced hollow body sound and further enhances it with TV Jones Super’Tron pickups offering players a hugely dynamic range of sounds. The individual volume and tone pots allow users to fine tune and blend in their perfect combination of amplified tone delivering a wide spectrum of sonic possibilities whilst still maintaining the overall warm vintage richness Gretsch guitars are so well known for producing.
The sealed body, finished with two simulated F-holes, helps to minimise feedback and deliver thick tones with rich resonance.
