No drum circle is complete without the Meinl JRD-TA Jr. Djembe 7” (Twisted Amber). This percussion instument is a synthetic, lightweight drum designed for mobility and durability. The shell and head of the Jr. Djembe Series are synthetic, which reduces the weight of the pieces and provides protection from the weather. A tough, 14mm paracord is used for fixing the head into place and adjusting the tone, while also serving as a shoulder strap, granting the instrument an ease-of-carry suitable for colaberating while camping, musical picnics, fire lit pow wows and festivals where traveling light is crucial.
