 Only handful of times in my life I've had the pleasure to test such an amazing strat! WOW! A half a century old, and in Stunning condition, Pre Serial number production, Made in Japan, between 1971 and 1974, in the Historic Pre-Lawsuit Era, when Ibanez made copies, as good or way better then the American production guitars, featuring unique craftmanship and careful wood selection that led to one of the best classic instruments ever made. This killer Strat features a heavy Mahogany body and warm colored Sunburst color, lovely Maple neck with 70's Fender headstock style with one of best feeling and looking Rosewood fingerboards ever. The guitar has just had a Hi-End Refretting Job done with Medium Size, Made in Germany frets and feels and sings in a enchanting way. Brand new Ernie Ball, 0.09-0.42, Made in USA, guitar strings. The ABM 5050 Vintage Tremolo works great together with the original, Made in Japan, tuning machines. 3 x Fender single coils, shielded for less possible noise, sound sweet on this axe and I would definitely let them rock that way. Of course, 1 Volume and 2 Tone controls and the original 3-way switch has been upgraded with a 5-way one. Weight around 4,15 kg, this is not your regular lightweight strat.
