I’m selling my 2001 PRS Singlecut in its stunning McCarty Burst finish.

This is a first-generation Singlecut, made in the USA before the famous legal dispute between PRS and Gibson (pre-lawsuit era). It belongs to PRS’s high-end American-made range, now known as the Core line.

What makes this particular example especially remarkable is its condition. Despite being 25 years old, the guitar looks fantastic and has been exceptionally well preserved.

It is completely original, which is always a real plus for an instrument of this age: PRS #7 pickups, electronics, tuners and hardware. Nothing has been modified.

The McCarty Burst finish beautifully showcases its stunning figured maple top (non-10-Top).

Condition:

• No visible scratches.
• Just one tiny ding, approximately 2 mm in size, near the bridge. I’ll provide a photo showing it clearly.
• Frets estimated to be at 95%.
• Original PRS hard case, in very good condition.

This is a guitar that has stood the test of time exceptionally well and deserves to continue its story in good hands.

It can do pretty much anything. The #7 pickups are absolutely fantastic, offering an incredible degree of versatility.

Collection in person is possible in Alsace, in Paris, and along the Strasbourg–Geneva route (via either France or Switzerland), as well as in the surrounding areas, depending on my travel plans.

I can also arrange carefully secured shipping via UPS, using heavily reinforced packaging. Shipping insurance will be at the buyer’s expense.

I have several listings available and am open to trades for a Gibson R8, R9 or R0. I’d also consider trading two guitars for one, or even three depending on the model.
