A true masterpiece – the Ibanez Custom Shop IV2RG Limited Edition. Hand-crafted in Japan, this remarkable neck-thru RG represents the finest quality Ibanez in history.
From one-off artist signatures to exhibition-ready masterpieces, Ibanez’s Japanese Custom Shop produces some of the finest electric guitars in the world. The show-stopping Visions IV2RG offers a breathtaking glimpse into that 6-string mastery. Its 5-piece maple/purpleheart neck-through construction forms the backbone of this regal RG, flanked by lightweight black limba wings and capped with a mesmerizing burl maple top.
Up top, an ebony fingerboard blends elegance and speed, adorned with winding Tree of Life inlays and built for performance with a 400mm radius, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, and Ibanez’s lightning-fast Super Wizard neck profile. Even unplugged, this premium tonewood pairing resonates with exceptional clarity and sustain. That said, when plugged in, a DiMarzio HSH trio — Air Norton in the neck, True Velvet in the middle, and Tone Zone in the bridge — delivers a genre-spanning arsenal of sounds. A top-tier hardware set, including a divebomb-ready Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge tremolo and Gotoh tuners, completes the package. For the guitarist who demands nothing short of excellence, the Japan Custom Shop Visions IV1RG represents the pinnacle of Ibanez form, function, and artistry.
